We have been online since June 4th 2002.
We invite you to explore gaywinnipeg.ca and to take time to familiarize yourself with the site and its many features.
You can join the forums and create a profile to tell us about your interests, post a message, let us know what you are looking for or just browse other members’ posts and profiles.

Our first raising of the Rainbow Pride Flag at City Hall was on May 31, 2002, and on June 9, 2002 the Manitoba Prov Government Proclaimed Gay Pride.
In 2002, under pressure from gay and lesbian activists, Manitoba's NDP government introduced a bill giving same-sex couples the right to adopt.
